The Opening and Closing Ceremonies
The Opening Ceremony will take place in the afternoon of Sunday, June 28, 1998. All registered participants, registered accompanying persons, exhibitors, and media are welcome.

On the final day of the official Conference Programme (Friday, July 3, 1998) the Closing Ceremony will be held immediately following the Rapporteur Sessions.

Welcome Reception
A reception will be held right after the Opening Ceremony on June 28, 1998. All registered participants, registered accompanying persons, media and registered exhibitors are welcome.

Commercial Exhibition
Participants are invited to the 12th World AIDS Conference Exhibition in Hall 7 throughout the week of the Conference.

The Exhibition will feature commercial exhibitors from around the world. Companies interested in exhibiting should contact Congrex.

Exhibitions for Non-Profit Organisations
A number of small exhibit booths will be reserved free of charge for non-government, non-profit organisations. The numbers are limited, so a selection process will be established by the Community Planning Committee. To receive a copy of the application form, please contact Congrex.

Completed application forms must be received by February 2, 1998 in order to be considered.
